About the event
The Art Chat: Abstract Palette
You’re invited to join the Alice Mayo Society for The Art Chat: Abstract Palette. We will explore watercolor, color, and simple techniques while also paying attention to what is happening while we create. We will dive into the concept of neuroarts, which looks at how engagement with art, creativity, music, movement, and other aesthetic experiences can influence the brain, body, and overall well-being. You don’t need previous art experience and you don’t need to know what your painting will look like before you begin. Simply come with a willingness to explore, notice, create, and be curious!
When: Wednesday, November 18, 9:45–11:15 AM (doors open at 9:30 for refreshments)
Where: Assisi Heights, 1001 14th St NW, Ste 100, Rochester, MN 55901
Cost: $50 (includes all art supplies, coffee, tea, and water)
Space is limited to ensure a personal and enriching experience.

Because sometimes the most interesting part of making art isn’t only what ends up on the paper, it’s what happens to us along the way.
