AMS Donations Collection for Gift of Life Transplant House
During the Spring Brunch, the Alice Mayo Society will be collecting donations to support Gift of Life Transplant House, a vital resource for transplant patients and their caregivers.
Founded in 1984 by Ed Pompeian, a two-time kidney transplant recipient, Gift of Life Transplant House began as an eight-bedroom home dedicated to providing affordable housing for transplant patients. Today, it has grown into the largest transplant hospitality house in the nation, offering 84 guest rooms and a welcoming, home-like environment for those on their transplant journey.
To support their mission, we are collecting much-needed items to help provide comfort and care to their guests. Below is a list of requested donations:
Paper & Disposable Products
Paper towels
Kleenex tissues
Toilet paper
Ceramic wrap
Aluminum foil
Lunch baggies
Cleaning Supplies
Soft Scrub all-purpose cleaner
Scrubbing Bubbles cleaner
Windex cleaner
Disinfectant cleaner (e.g., 409 cleaner)
Lysol disinfecting wipes
Soaps & Sanitizers
Liquid dish soap
Liquid hand soap in a pump
Snacks & Treats
Chocolate/Hard candies
Individually wrapped snacks (e.g., Goldfish crackers)
