The Garden Tea Event held on Sep 27th at the Mayowood Stone Barn was a memorable occasion, filled with music and delicious food, as we welcomed new and returning members to the Alice Mayo Society.
The soothing melodies of harpist Noelle set the ambiance for the event. A delightful fall brunch buffet featured seasonal treats, from chai spiced butternut squash soup and squash sandwiches to pumpkin ganache-filled chocolate shells.
Donations were collected online in support of the local non-profit organization, Bear Creek Services, underlining the importance of giving back.
Furthermore, members had the unique opportunity to delve into our society's storied history via albums sourced from the Mayo Archives, spanning from the early 1960s to the 1980s.
The Garden Tea fostered connections, celebrated the season, and reinforced our commitment to community.
